January is a really nice time of the year for observing the night sky, with the return of some very bright stars, and iconic constellations, such as Orion.  Fred Stevenson will start the session with a talk on Moon and particularly eclipses, as there is a total lunar eclipse coming up on Jan 21st. The Moon will be up, and Venus should be very prominent.
